Our GREEN PE packaging is bio-based, which means that the plastic consists of at least a proportion of renewable, i.e. vegetable, raw materials, e.g. sugar cane. The raw material used is chemically identical to standard PE qualities and therefore provides identical mechanical properties. However, since the raw material used to produce the film is not fossil (crude oil) but bio-based and renewable (sugar cane), greenPE film is more sustainable than conventionally produced PE film. When disposed of, this so-called "green-PE" film is fully recyclable, but not biodegradable. The proportion of bio-based material in the stand-up pouches and boxbouches from stock is > 65 % By using EVOH (high barrier), we also offer maximum protection for your product. The bags are completely aluminium-free and thus once again underline your claim to sustainability!
